As a complement to our advocacy work, we also work closely with our members to provide business solutions for carriers. CCA’s Data Access Hub is one of the most significant programs to date and was created to make connectivity much easier. Carriers that connect with the Hub have immediate access to all other participating operators’ networks.

CCA hosts two major events each year to bring key players in the competitive mobile ecosystem together to network, learn about the latest technologies, and hear policy updates. CCA events are the ideal meeting place for stakeholders in the mobile industry to come together under one roof.
More carrier companies are represented at CCA events than any other industry event, giving attendees and exhibitors unprecedented access to top-level executives and companies influencing the industry.

CCA members gain access to a network of industry colleagues who share the same policy concerns. Our Washington Representatives (WASH REPS) Group holds weekly calls to discuss the latest developments on legislative and regulatory issues most important to competitive carriers.
In order to qualify as a voting member, a company must:

2. Together with all “affiliates”, not have more than 80 million subscribers at the time of original application to become a voting member (“affiliates” are defined as all entities controlling, controlled by or under common control with the applicant). Annual dues are assessed based on annual wireless revenue.
The Associate Member category includes companies that provide goods or services for the wireless telecommunications industry serving the rural and small metropolitan areas of the United States. Associate members are not voting members.

The Affiliate Member category is comprised of those companies who operate or own an interest in a CMRS license but do not qualify as a voting member. This may be because they exceed the subscriber limit in their markets or because they are a limited partner.
